The Finder won’t always let you drop the Trash just anywhere you please. So to create a tile for the Trash, we have to use a trick. Here’s how it’s done:

1. Make an alias for the Trash. Select the Trash on the desktop, and choose Make Alias from the Finder’s File menu.

2. Drop the alias onto The Tilery’s tile. A new Trash tile will appear.

3. Delete the Trash alias by dropping it into the real Trash. Or you can keep it if you want to; but The Tilery doesn’t need it any more.
